About me

Hello guys.

I am M.T. and this is a blog about me and my scooter.

I recently created a YouTube channel as an experiment and this blog is a support to my channel.

First, let me tell you something about myself.
I am 38 years old. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and I work a full time in a government company. When I was a student I had few websites that generated some income for me. Later, when I got job, I didn’t care to much about those websites because of lack of time and I had to close them one by one. Few years back I decided to to make a my first Android app. I made few apps and I generated some income. Both, websites and apps, can be considered as my hobby. But, they taught me a lot. To create a website or a mobile app is a easy part of the job. It’s much harder to bring people to visit your website or download and use your app. Everything you want to make already exists and it’s really hard to compete with the competition that is much stronger than you. You need a unique idea.

I always wanted to try to monetize YouTube videos. The problem is the same as the problem with websites and apps. Whatever you create it is already on YouTube and you need to compete with competitors that have thousands of subscribers and that have channels for years. Some of them are professionals. For years I was looking for a good idea for my channel.

One think that I always liked were motorcycles. I never had a riding license for a motorcycle or a motorcycle. Always there was something more important than buying a bike. Last year I finally took some riding classes and got my riding license. The riding license is for all kind of bikes not just scooters, but I decided to buy a scooter because it is more practical. I will describe this in one of my videos.

As a newbie rider I spend days watching YouTube videos about motorcycles, scooters, gear, maintenance, mods, riding skills and so on. For many topics I couldn’t find any information. Then I realized, even though, there is a lot of motovlogs only few is about scooters. That is an interesting idea for YouTube channel. As a newbie riders I can create videos for other newbie riders and discuss about dilemmas I had when I had decided to get my riding license, or buy a scooter not a motorcycle, or how I chose my helmet etc. Also I want to learn to maintain my scooter and I want to upload those videos for people who want to learn from/with me.

Finally, I decided to create all videos in English, because I don’t have opportunity to speak English often and this can be a good way to improve it.

As I said, this is an experiment. The monetization is not a primary goal. The primary goal is to learn how thinks work on YouTube. To get into the YouTube Partner Program, a channel needs 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, and 1,000 subscribers. If you want to help me you can subscribe to my channel. It would mean a lot to me.

Support me by subscribing to my channel

Thank you
